As a Bonvoy member, I was very disappointed. I choose Marriott for its reputation for consistent quality, but this stay fell short. The room looked worn and noticeably dated, from the furnishings to the décor, and seemed to need substantial updating. For the premium price, I expected somewhere more modern, comfortable, and well maintained. The room’s condition left me feeling that what I paid wasn’t matched by the value.

I’ve been here for 60 days because my home insurance arranged a temporary relocation, and it’s been a great stay overall. Isabel is by far the nicest staff member I’ve encountered, and the cleaning staff are very kind too. My main frustrations have been needing to ask more than once for clean linens sometimes, and finding pool towels sparse on most days.

The location is perfect, close to food and shopping, and the front desk staff were super friendly. The cleaners were less so, though not rude. I’d stay here for a short visit again at this price. Breakfast was delicious, with the usual hotel buffet plus mini souffles, and the coffee was good too. The room was relatively quiet, with a nice cold air conditioner and plenty of TV channels to surf or stream. It was clean enough for my one-night business trip, though details could be better: dust coated the closet door, a pot had baked-on egg and other food, and the bathroom sink drain wouldn’t open. During my 18-hour stay I put up with the slow drainage; for a longer visit I’d have asked maintenance. The room felt dated despite thoughtful updates, with fewer outlets than a newer hotel and an older TV, but everything was acceptable and the small issues didn’t make me uneasy sleeping there.

The location is in a beautiful part of town, with easy parking. That was the good part of my stay, 11/03/25-11/04/25. I’ve stayed at many Marriott locations and usually prefer them, but after this experience I’m not sure I can keep saying that. Check-in was easy, though the staff member was hard to hear. She smelled strongly of marijuana, which felt unprofessional, and her teenage daughter sat at the desk staring at me while doing homework. The room and common areas looked poorly cleaned. The elevator was visibly dirty and still had trash overnight. Dirty laundry and smelly trash bags sat in the hallways overnight, and the entryway had dusty buildup in the corners and unclean counters. In my room, the sheets had brown stains, so I slept on top of the bedding. The bathroom had urine and shoe prints; there was hair on the shower walls and shelf, and on a used bar of soap, plus toothpaste marks on the counter. It felt like the room may have received a hasty once-over and nothing more. I didn’t trust changing rooms and didn’t want the hassle. As a rewards member, it’s hard to say, but I won’t stay at Marriott’s any longer. Avoid this place if you can.
