The location is handy for restaurants and venues, and the staff are friendly. But the hotel and rooms badly need upgrades. I didn't realize pets were allowed, and with carpet everywhere, the musty, smoky smell in the halls and rooms was hard to escape despite the no-smoking signs. They sprayed perfume around to cover it. There was mold on the back of the bathroom door and ceiling, hair in the tub, and a bit of gray gel on the bedspread. We bought Lysol spray and wipes and cleaned the room ourselves, so we left it better than we found it. The shower curtain was too short to keep water off the floor. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were good, and the AC cooled the room once we got it going. There was no hand soap. Breakfast was warm, not hot, and the coffee, juice, and eggs had run out. I wouldn't stay again. I hope they can renovate and offer service that matches the staff's kindness.

The front desk was very polite, but I arrived way early, around 15:30, and the room I'd chosen wasn't ready, even though I'd been told to select that specific room. Not a good first impression. Update: it's only day two of my seven-day stay and this has been terrible. Both key cards stopped working, and my digital key doesn't work either. Last night I tried to buy a bottle of water, but the guy couldn't give me a receipt because his computer was so backed up. This makes me never want to go to Hilton again.

The location is excellent, near shopping, restaurants, and major roads. Breakfast had a good range, check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a great stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton – The Woodlands and would definitely come back.

The staff were nice and accommodating when we had to move rooms because the shower faucet didn't work. It's clearly an older hotel, but things seemed clean. We appreciated the snacks in the room, though breakfast was pretty limited.

It felt homey, and I plan to stay there again. The bed was comfortable, the staff were accommodating, and breakfast was nice!!! A shout-out to Gabriela at the front desk for exemplary customer service. Thank you.
