Holiday Inn Express & Suites Thibodaux by IHG

The mornings were a treat, thanks to Nikki and Peijah. Their cheerful service and hot, satisfying breakfast, with a good range of fresh choices, helped start each day well. The front desk team, Quon, Shanice, and Destiny (Moi), also stood out for their warmth, efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. They treated us like VIPs and made our family feel cared for. Our room was spotless and fresh, and the peaceful, well-kept atmosphere made it easy to relax. From arrival through checkout, everything felt thoughtful, right down to the room quality and customer service. We had a heartfelt, luxury-level stay that we'll remember. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Thibodaux by IHG exceeded expectations, and we're already thinking about coming back. Thanks to the whole team for making it special.

I was welcomed kindly at check-in, but the next morning turned into a terrible experience. I told my teenage boys to get breakfast while I showered. The morning desk lady, Ms. DESTINEE, described as a husky afro woman, told my 14-year-old and his brother they had to leave the property. She said nobody had told her that four little black boys had checked in. Then she went into the room with my kids and the police and had them pack all their things while I was downstairs drinking coffee, with no idea what was happening. She called the police on me, lied that my kids had been running around all night and that guests had complained, and asked the officers to remove us. We had arrived in the middle of the evening and were tired. After an officer came to my room and told me what she'd said, I respectfully went to confront her with him there. She became hostile and wanted to fight. My 9-year-old said she took his plate while he was still eating his bagel, so apparently kids have to be 18 to get their own breakfast. Management never called to apologize or look into what happened. They just put us out at 7 in the morning, and she couldn't even tell the truth. They're still holding my deposit from November 23. I'm hurt because Mr Chris used to be my landlord and I loved him, but this was unacceptable.

Mr Chris was a huge help with my baby shower, and he was kind and accommodating. The staff and manager were phenomenal, and every front desk person my family and I dealt with was so nice. Definitely keep this place in mind for hosting an event.

It's clean and reasonably priced, and everyone is friendly, from the front desk and breakfast staff to the cleaners. Great hotel!
