Chris at the front desk couldn’t have been more accommodating, and every staff member gave great service. We spent four nights here, taking day trips along Route 1 and the Maine coast. The location was convenient, with terrific seafood nearby at The Zach Shack and ice cream across the street at Dorman’s Dairy Dream. The building was clean and well maintained, breakfast was exceptional, and our stay made for a wonderful Maine mid coast experience.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the price seemed comparable. Our room at this Hampton Inn in Rockland was basically a large studio, with the bed on one side and chairs, a table, and a couch on the other. It looked fairly new and had fresh paint, and the mattress was comfortable. The location worked really well for visiting the central Maine coastline. I’d stay again.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is well kept. It’s in a handy spot, with an Applebees next door and other places to eat and services nearby. I mostly interacted with Aubrey and Tyler, but the whole staff was excellent and friendly.

At nearly $400 a night this weekend, the hotel was a terrible value, and as a Hilton Honors member I was very disappointed. The staff were nice, but our shower had poor water pressure and the motorized window blinds didn’t work. We reported the blinds, but they weren’t fixed. By 6:30 in the morning the breakfast bar had run out of bananas. Couldn’t they have bought enough?

The staff are very friendly, and the air conditioner had a setting that kept the fan running all night, which I liked. Breakfast was the usual hot spread, egg omelets, bacon, and a waffle maker. But if you want quiet sleep and to wake without a sore back, this may not be the place. I could hear the people above thudding and the neighbors through the walls. The bed felt comfy at first, then I woke with a stiff back. They’re talking about updating the hotel and had just taken room measurements.
