Baymont Inn & Suites Thomasville

The price is affordable, and the hotel has been renovated and is very clean. There were no bed bugs, and it's a good place to stay. Earlier reviews don't seem to reflect how much effort is going into keeping it in good shape, even after other guests damage things. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an affordable room.

The mattress seemed fairly clean, and the sheets were bright white, crisp, and smelled good. The front desk woman was very kind, and housekeeping was too. She let us check in an hour early. But the place was so outdated and kind of gross, with greasy floors and nasty doors. I really didn't want to touch anything. We managed for one night, but unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again. Two stars for the staff.

The dining room juice smelled and tasted spoiled, and the coffee was undrinkable too. The room was very subpar, with dirty, old furniture and torn upholstery. Outlets were worn out and didn't work, the bathroom fan was full of dust, and there were black spots on the walls. I would've changed hotels if there had been other options nearby and time to do it. After my stay, I called management about these problems, but they were unhelpful and unwilling to address them. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you just need somewhere to sleep and don't care about room quality.

The staff at check-in were polite, and the rooms were clean. But this was my second stay, and once again nobody would give me towels, even after two days. I asked staff to bring some in the morning, but they didn't. After I kept asking, I got three face cloths. The bathroom sink stopper was lying on the sink, and the restroom fan didn't work.
