The cabins are clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. We also had a lot of fun in the lounge, where friendly locals made us feel welcome. But there were so many large flying bugs in the cabin. I killed at least a dozen and woke up with one crawling across my arm. For the price, that's not what I'd expect, and it's the main reason I can't say I'd return.

It was so peaceful waking up in this beautiful, quiet natural setting. The room felt cozy and had everything I needed to feel at home, and the staff were kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'd love to come back for another relaxing getaway.

The full hookups worked great, and the bathrooms were clean. Most of the RV park seems to be full-timers, and it looked a little junky. It was too pricey, and I couldn't figure out how to get the AARP discount. Fine for an overnight stop, but nothing more.

I canceled at 3:45 pm after high winds made travel dangerous, and the school event I was going to present at was canceled too. They still charged me and expected me to drive there through a winter storm, stay the night, then make the same dangerous trip back home. They were unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate me. Stay somewhere else. There are other good options that are more welcoming.

The wings and fries were the reason for this review. I'd seen people order wings in the bar area, so I tried them too. I worry about wings these days because some places have cut quality as prices rose, but that wasn't an issue here. The garlic parmesan sauce was really good, and the wings were meaty and cooked well. Some of the best I've had in a long time, and the fries were pretty much 10/10. It's also a great place to stay.
