Check-in was quick and the price was cheap, but that didn't make up for the front desk woman's aggression. She wasn't friendly at all and made it feel like you should just shut up and go to your room. When we were trying to leave, they banged on our door until we got up, before it was even 10. The same woman was also doing housekeeping, and the rooms felt disgusting. I didn't even sleep on the sheets. The window was broken and had a couple of bullet holes. Definitely not worth $80 a night.

The motel was quiet, but the room was cold and not clean, including the sheets. There was no heat in the common areas, which should be comfortable in winter. Breakfast was the worst I've seen: coffee, a pitcher of some kind of flavored drink, four pieces of bread with butter or margarine packets, a few jam packets, and three very dry muffins. It was so cold that the butter was too hard to spread.

The TV was probably the best thing about the place. Everything smelled dirty and badly needed an upgrade, or to be torn down. Repairs looked like they were done with whatever was at hand. The lamp didn't work, the faucets either wouldn't work or we couldn't figure out how to turn them on, and the mini fridge had no shelves. The woman checking us in wasn't friendly. We stopped because of the storms and being tired; otherwise we'd have kept driving. There are better places farther down the highway. I don't recommend it.

The room was in such bad, dirty shape that we didn't want to stay, and we found availability at a nicer hotel. I hadn't realized I'd booked through an agency called “reservation desk” or I wouldn't have gone through with it. We were in a hurry to find somewhere, and I don't know what I was thinking. It took two months to get my refund. The agency kept giving me the runaround, and eventually my bank had to get the money back. The hotel manager was pleasant when we arrived but not so nice once we wanted to leave. Someone at the other hotel told us this was a local crack hotel. I wouldn't stay here, and I'd avoid doing anything through reservation desk.
