I went back on Friday because my Tuesday stay had been so good: the room near the office was great, with a microwave and mini fridge, and the staff were polite. Friday's room was at the back on the second floor and had neither appliance. There was no shampoo, and the towels were tiny. The woman at the desk was rude. She said there were no other rooms, but shortly after I came back, someone arrived with cash and suddenly a room opened up. Then I was told to pay 10 dollars extra for a โluxuryโ room with the microwave and fridge. That's ridiculous when I paid more on Friday than Tuesday despite getting a better room Tuesday. When I politely asked for a refund, they threatened to call the police. I stayed two nights total. Avoid this hotel, and don't expect Expedia to help.

They're in the middle of updating the place, and I might come back in late summer or early fall to see how far they've got. With a bit more work, this could be close to a four-star stay for a two-star motel. The price is about what you'd expect: a basic, roughly 2.5-star place. Staff were friendly, and the rooms have had some updates, though they still look dated. The walls are thin, so you hear people talking in the lot and cars idling outside for ages. My room had no coffee maker, so I went to Walmart and bought a cheap one and coffee. That trip cost more than the room. They do have coffee in reception. The toilet looked scratched inside, and by morning I found it wouldn't flush more than three squares of toilet paper. Water pressure was almost nonexistent. I had to run the shower for over five minutes before it warmed up, but once it did, the hot water was properly hot. There were two towels and soap, but no shampoo or lotion. A listing on Google says breakfast is included, though it was just a sugary snack. The room was only cleanish: I found long hairs between the blanket and sheets and a couple more on the bathroom floor. I hope it was housekeeping. The heater filters, at least, were mostly clean, the first time I've seen that in any hotel or motel, regardless of price.

I was only there for one night and tried to pay for another, just a few minutes after checkout. The cleaning lady said it was okay, but when I went to the desk, Tatiana slammed the door in my face, called the police, and had me trespassed. I'd been polite and kind to her, and I felt completely disrespected. She knew I had no car and was with my two adult dogs, yet I was left to walk in the hot sun. They wouldn't even let me get water for the dogs before I left. Tatiana at the front desk has been rude and disrespectful whenever I've spoken with her. The other employees aren't so bad, but I wouldn't recommend staying if she's working. Go somewhere else. Nobody deserves to be treated that way for no reason. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

After midnight, one staff member was talking with a guest just 8 to 10 feet from each other, close enough to disturb my room. It was a loud conversation about some random thing, as if it were the middle of the day. This was the same person who reminds guests about the sign saying smokers must be 25 feet from the building. They were walking around smoking themselves and stopping to chat with guests right outside the rooms, nowhere near 25 feet away. I left out their name, gender, and job title.

We'd just had a bathroom vent fan catch fire at the Econ Lodge in Aurora around 3am. I put it out, and after the fire department arrived, we checked out right away. With nowhere else to go, I called Park Inn by Radisson. Even with every room supposedly full, the gentleman who answered got us a room without hesitation when other places might not have tried. At the desk, Jeremiah was a delight, handling my unfortunate situation with real professionalism and class. Thank you, Jeremiah.
