The Alpaca room was adorable and comfy, and after long days outside at Homestead in Princeton, the coffee bar and drink fridge were a real help. Breakfast was delicious too. I had trouble with the tub stopper, but Jeremy rigged it up enough that I could enjoy a relaxing bath one night. I have nothing bad to say about my stay at The Tiskilwa Inn. Jeremy and his little furry assistant were generous with their service and the accommodations. I’ll definitely be back!

We’ll be back! Jeremy was friendly and welcoming, and even lent us tools when one of our bicycles got a flat. Breakfast was delicious, and the bathroom in the Zen room is huge and amazing. The B&B has loads of charm, with a loving restoration that brings out some of its original beauty.

The owners made us feel at home throughout the Inn, and the building has so many beautiful original features. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tiskilwa Inn just before Christmas, and we’re already hoping to make it a tradition. The rooms were clean and comfortable, each with its own spa bathroom, which was literally the nicest bathroom I’ve ever been in. Breakfast was delicious, including rabbit and ginger sausage. The owners are fun and friendly, and it sounds like they have great plans to expand. I’ve lived in the area my whole life and had no idea such a beautiful, cool place was still here. It would be a great getaway for locals or a place to stay when visiting Bureau County. 11 out of 10 recommend, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the Inn.

Jeremy was a wonderful host, and breakfast made an already lovely stay even better. We found the Tiskilwa Inn while looking for somewhere interesting for one night on our drive home from KY, and I’m so glad we did. The beautiful house has been restored with a mix of historic and modern touches that keeps its historic character. We also drove to Princeton to see the Red Covered Bridge and walk downtown, where we had a meal at Spoons. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Breakfast was just right, and I liked having fruit, coffee, tea, juice, soda, and, as a surprise, my favorite V-8. Jeremy’s lending library lets people leave a book or take one to finish reading, and he knows so much about the building and town history. I loved hearing his stories. We stayed in the farmhouse room, which felt warm and welcoming, and I peeked at the other rooms too. Their themes are lovely, and the refurbishing is gorgeous. The house itself is beautiful, and Jeremy and his cute dog Charlie greeted us at the door. Tiskwa Inn was a fabulous stay and a beautiful getaway from the ordinary. Definitely coming back!
