There’s a nice breakfast area, and the rooms have a useful kitchen setup with pots, pans, utensils, and a full-size fridge. Parking was decent, too. They also have an outdoor grilling area, though unfortunately the grill was closed. The only USB ports in the rooms were USB A, with no USB C, so charging was slow.

The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and the shower is great. Breakfast tasted good, though the waffle plates were too small and syrup overflowed. The beds are really hard. Even at $170 a night, there’s still no daily room service five years after COVID. I asked to exchange towels and was told I wasn’t eligible for maid service. The hotel was full and parking was ample except for handicap spots. The spaces right by the front door were reserved for electric cars, but all were empty except for one non-electric car parked in one. At 4am the TV came on to do some kind of update. Why not do that at 4 pm? I could also hear a TV turn on in the next room at 5 am, and I’m a light sleeper. There’s a lot of interstate noise, though the AC fan’s steady white noise helped drown it out. The walls are thin.

My room at TownePlace Suites was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The staff were welcoming from the minute I arrived and made me feel at home. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh food and plenty of choices. Everything went smoothly, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable stay with friendly people.

The quiet room, great staff, and well-attended breakfast made for a good overnight stay before our cruise. The hotel was nice and clean, and the breakfast service was handled flawlessly. We especially appreciated the handwritten note thanking us for staying and for being Bonvoy Silver members. A nice touch. I’d recommend it to others.
