The heater was ancient and kicked on every two minutes, roaring like an airplane taking off. I couldn't sleep through it. The online photos are ancient too; the place is falling apart. Every piece of furniture in our room was damaged, even the crooked bedside lamp, and there were broken-down cars and heaps of trash outside. We felt unsafe all night. Some people looked like they were casing the place, and a man who wasn't with the hotel knocked on every door early in the morning. We were afraid someone might break our car windows. The sheets were dirty, so we walked to the check-in office for clean ones. Even though we specifically asked for a fitted sheet, they gave us only a top sheet and pillowcases. The room was poorly cleaned: old toothpaste on the mirror, soap smears in the shower, and a seal on the toilet lid that had clearly gotten wet and dried. There are no refunds, but we decided losing the money was worth it and went to another hotel rather than spend a second night there.

The owner was extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure my kids and I were comfortable. The room was cozy, quaint, and clean, and the air conditioning worked great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and our stay was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed it a lot and will be back soon 😊

We left immediately and will never come back. The owner offered another room, but it had only one bed, even though we'd paid for two. He said one-bed and two-bed rooms cost the same and wouldn't refund us. The rooms were absolutely disgusting: the beds were half made, the floors were dirty, and the bathroom was unsanitary. There was a dried streak of urine running from the toilet seat down the front, and dried spots of blood above the toilet paper holder beside the sink. When we went straight back to the office, the owner was rude, had an attitude, and didn't apologize at all.

Paul is a great owner who really cares about the place. He's out walking the lot to make sure everything is okay, not just sitting in the office where you never see him. It's quiet and peaceful, with no shenanigans going on. It's been a pleasure helping him however I can.

Paul was very nice and showed me hospitality. The room with the Jacuzzi was beautiful, clean, and had a soft bed. The price wasn't bad at all. I'll be back.
