Motel Torrey

We spent a couple of nights at the Motel Torrey while visiting Capital Reef, and the stay was an amazing trip back in time. It was easy to park just steps from our room, and both Torrey’s Main Street and the park were convenient to get to. Our room was comfortable and updated, with two comfortable queen beds, an awesome shower, a coffee maker, and a fridge. We sat outside in the art deco chairs to watch the sunset and all the stars.

The self check-in made arriving easy, even in the middle of the night. We got a door code, and check-out was just as easy. For a stay near Capitol Reef National Park, the price was very reasonable. The motel is a few minutes from the park and close to shops and restaurants for breakfast or dinner. Although it’s along the main road, it was quiet at night. Our room was clean, well arranged, and fairly spacious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. The surrounding views were nice. Wi-Fi worked very well, and the shower had excellent water pressure, unlike some hotels where the water barely runs. It was a great place to stay while visiting the park.

We were just passing through, so it was a quick stay, and parking right outside the room made coming and going easy. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, warm linens and blankets, and the room was clean. Making the reservation online and checking in by text with the room code were both easy.

Check-in was seamless, and the clean room had a really comfortable bed and pillows. The water pressure was decent, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the TV channels were decent. Shampoo and soap were supplied, but no conditioner, so ladies, bring your own 😅 The walls were pretty thin, and we could hear the neighbors and things happening outside. It got quiet after a certain hour, though. We’d absolutely stay here again.
