The lobby and breakfast weren’t glamorous, but both were sufficient. I found this to be a cozy gem and good value if you’re not high maintenance. The area of CT is beautiful when you get out and look around, with lovely towns and sights, plus skiing relatively nearby. We had two rooms, both clean, with comfortable beds and heaters that worked well. I didn’t hear a sound from next door. The front desk was helpful, compassionate, and accommodating when they switched a reservation I’d mistakenly made for the following week on a third-party site.

Breakfast is limited to toast, cereal, and yogurt, though coffee and tea are available all day. For dinner, you’ll need to go out. Tre came to my room to help with the TV and internet, and they have Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you just need a clean, welcoming place for a few days, I highly recommend Days Inn. If you want lots of amenities, this may not be the place.

The rooms have been nicely redecorated and updated, and I’ve enjoyed each stay. A comfortable chair and a coffee maker are the main things missing from the rooms. It would also help to have coffee in the breakfast area all day for those of us who aren’t up and dressed before 9 a.m. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating when issues come up.

I was unsure after reading some reviews, but the spotless room and friendly, accommodating staff were a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was light, though enough for me. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and for the price I’d definitely stay again.

We had a clean, comfortable room for two days, and everything else was fine. Breakfast was the only issue. I know it’s free, but the choices were just Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, or toast. I’d go back and recommend the place to others.
