The area felt safe and was convenient, just north of 44, with the corporate campus nearby and affluent Des Peres close by. Still, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The rooms need basic attention, from better pillows and updated box springs to clean drains, replaced doors, and cobweb removal. Charging $5 for parking seems silly when it should be free.

The hotel was clean and nicely updated. We waited more than 10 minutes at the desk before anyone came to check us in, though. Then the fire alarm went off at 4 a.m., and nobody was around to let us know when it was safe to return. Marriott needs more than one person trying to cover two hotels.

The staff, including the supervisor, were so helpful and accommodating, and the hotel was clean. We had a great first visit to the city with my family. We got to the lobby bar just before closing, and the bartender kept it open a little longer for us. The service was amazing.

Our flight was delayed, and everyone we dealt with made things as flexible as possible. The person I chatted with through the app that night and the desk staff I called the next morning both treated us like we were their only customers that weekend. I can't say enough about the customer service. Thank you so much!

The lobby restaurant was good, and this was one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in. But I wish the rooms had microwaves. I couldn't bring back some really good leftovers because there was no way to heat them later. Some USB ports didn't work, and one charging outlet was faulty, though there were other outlets available. After housekeeping serviced the room, they turned up the A/C, so it was very warm when I came back that evening.
