The library in the cozy loft was my favorite spot in the house. Scott & Laurie were kind and quick to reply when we needed them, and the room and rest of the home were spotless and cozy, with a mountain cabin feel. We loved the coffee and breakfast, too. We’ll definitely stay at A Breath of Heaven again.

Scott made delicious breakfasts every morning and kept the coffee coming for us coffee fans. He asked about dietary restrictions right away, got to know us, and shared lots of recommendations. Scott and Laurie made us feel like family. The gorgeous grounds and beautiful, clean, well-kept house were a pleasure to come back to. We hated leaving and are already planning another visit. The service, location, and company were hard to beat, and we already miss Traverse City.

The setting was peaceful and scenic, and it worked well as a base for exploring Traverse City and the Lelanau Peninsula. I booked both suites for three nights with my husband and in-laws, and we knew in advance that the kitchen wasn't available to guests. We hadn't expected coffee to be limited to certain times or there to be one towel per guest. They did get us an extra towel for drying our hair, which we appreciated. It felt warm inside, so we spent less time at the B&B during the day than we'd planned. The home has central air on a shared thermostat, and some windows can be opened.

Scott and Laurie were wonderful hosts and made our two nights feel special. My husband and I found it quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, and a great place to explore the area from. Breath of heaven is a real gem, and we couldn't have enjoyed it more.

The breakfast each morning was a treat, and I’d happily recommend this place 10/10. Our room was a peaceful retreat, with a comfortable bed, clean linens, and thoughtful decor. The whole house was beautiful and immaculately kept, balancing classic charm with a cozy feel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality made us feel at home. A Breath of Heaven Bed & Breakfast is tucked into a quiet corner of Traverse City.
