Alexandra Inn

The room was spotless and the property well maintained, and the Traverse City location was good. But those were the only real positives. We paid over $900 for one room for a two-night weekend, and had two rooms, so $1,800 total, yet nobody in our group could sleep. With summer rates that high, the value just wasn't there, and there are better options nearby. On the fourth floor, the restaurant directly above made unbearable noise late into the night and again early in the morning, like a stampede. I couldn't get a decent night's rest. When I reported it, staff brushed it off with, “It will quiet down in a bit.” Apart from the young man who checked me in the first night, who was polite and professional, service felt indifferent and unwelcoming, with little concern for guests. I would never stay at the Alexandra Inn again and would advise others to look elsewhere for a restful stay.

The rooms were phenomenal, and the hotel had a beautiful atmosphere right by the beach. I was there for a conference in September. The staff were wonderful, especially Jennifer H., whose service was exemplary. I'll stay here again.

We had drinks and dinner with a small group on the top of Blush Terrace on a lovely sunny day. The bay view was sublime, and the food was delightful and varied. Tre took excellent care of us. Thank you!

The rooftop bar and restaurant were great for a drink with a view, and the food looked really good, though we didn't eat there. We stayed four nights at The Alexandra Inn and loved the beachfront setting and amazing sunsets. Our fourth-floor room faced the water, and that view was worth it. Fresh cookies at 7 every evening were a sweet touch, and the staff were so kind.
