Grand Traverse Motel

We were here for a little over a week and had a wonderful stay. We’re not in the room much during a summer visit, so it mostly needs to be comfortable for sleeping. There was plenty of space, it was clean, and we had everything we needed. Some details were shabby chic, like the dated carpet, but you can tell the rooms get regular attention. There’s a full-size fridge and complimentary breakfast snacks and drinks, which is all we want in the morning anyway. You can walk downtown to Little Fleet, to the beach, and to pretty much anywhere else you’d want to go. Just bring your own beach towels, since they don’t provide them. This isn’t a luxury hotel, and the price reflects the accommodations, but we couldn’t be happier and will definitely return.

Being pet-friendly is the best part. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and single-cup coffee maker. There are several parks, beaches, restaurants, and other activities nearby.

The room was clean and had a full-size fridge, coffee, and a smart TV. I didn’t use any services. It smelled musty, maybe because of the rug, and the memory foam-like bed wasn’t comfortable for me.

We booked two nights but left after just one. The room was clean, but it smelled, and we kept a fan running day and night. The place is old and needs a complete overhaul and update.
