Residence Inn By Marriott Traverse City

We were right beside the elevators and never heard them, and even with a noisy pool area full of kids, you could barely hear them from the hallway. The soundproofing is really well thought out. We were here for a hockey jamboree, and the staff accommodated our team very well. It's a new hotel, so I can't say yet how it will be kept up over time, but everything was spotless and really nice. Our room was amazing for the price. We'll definitely be back next year!

The team was attentive and clearly cared about making guests comfortable. I loved the thoughtfully laid out suites, the premium feeling details from bedding to kitchen amenities, and the inviting lobby. It's a great home away from home for a longer stay, and I'm already planning another visit in summer 2026. What a phenomenal addition to Traverse City, highly recommend.

The only thing that kept me from having a completely dark room was a blinking smoke detector light and the bathroom nightlight. Otherwise, my first stay at this brand new hotel was great. Everyone was genuinely helpful from check-in through departure, and the facilities were fresh and in good shape. They even stock Moomers in the marketplace. I'll stay again, especially since it's convenient for early TVC flights.

I spend a lot of nights in Marriott hotels, and this is easily one of my favorites. The rooms are spacious and lovely, and the kitchens have pretty much everything you need to feel at home. I liked it so much I wanted to stay longer instead of going back to reality. Can't wait to return in the summer.
