Amy was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming, and that personal touch made a real difference. We found Arvilla Resort at the last minute for a New Year’s getaway after everywhere else was booked. It was a gamble that worked out: the rooms have been fully renovated, were spotless, and felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were so comfortable, and the pillows were so good that we tracked them down online and ordered some for home. There are chairs outside each room for relaxing in the evening. The pool was too cold for us to swim in, but it was clean and we saw staff maintaining it every day. The beach is right outside, and many good restaurants are an easy walk away. We liked the keyless entry with its 4-digit code, and the mini-kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, and bowls. The updated coffee pot was a nice bonus. We’ll absolutely return and recommend Arvilla Resort to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable beachfront stay in Treasure Island.

I took my family here for New Year's after being told the rooms were remodeled. The mattresses were disgusting, seemed about 20 years old, and had bed bugs crawling on them. The wall outlets had no covers, and the AC had mold in it. There are no refunds. The on-site office hours are the most ridiculous I’ve ever seen for a hotel, and there was nobody on the property. I called the Treasure Island health board and hope they do something. I’ve told everyone I know and posted about it on Facebook.

The manager was amazing and there whenever we needed her, and we’ll be back. Our room was beautiful and had a kitchenette, with a nice sitting area right outside the door. The pool was right there too, and the beach was lovely with trails to walk. My daughter is planning a stay as well. I recommend it 100%.

The location is spectacular for sunsets, right on the beach, though the water’s edge is about 150 yards away. The resort is clean and well kept, and the pool stays around 80 degrees. Perfect.

SCAM!!! I booked for $100 on 1/10/26 and am trying to get my money back through booking.com. The hotel was empty when we arrived, with no guests or cars. A sign on the door sent us to the motel next door, where someone said the staff and manager had quit. They showed us a room with a door that wouldn’t close all the way and had no lock, plus feces on the carpet. Disgusting. I had to scramble to find another room nearby. It felt like a scene from Bates Motel. I’m assuming the other recent reviews are fake.
