Ramada by Wyndham Triangle/Quantico

The hotel was tidy and well lit, and the staff were great with customer service. Rooms were fairly neat too. Breakfast was just okay. Good stay.

The reply to my review is what really made this bad. They answered politely on booking.com, then privately sent a passive aggressive message saying none of what I described was true. Maybe I imagined everything, then. We only needed a place to stop on a road trip. Most of the room was clean, but brown water was leaking from the back of the toilet. We told the staff and nobody came to check it. When we arrived, my husband also mentioned the cigarette smell at the front desk so we wouldn’t be blamed for it. They gave him air freshener spray. Breakfast was god awful, with processed hockey pucks of eggs, dried out sausage, and prepackaged pastries. I wouldn’t have rated them so badly if not for the gaslighting.

The location and price were great, so I’d stay here again. Rooms were plain and a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, though good enough for the whole family. The fitness room was pretty basic and a bit lacking, but it worked for what I needed. Watch out on the treadmill and hold the handles, it slips.

I travel constantly as a tower climber and sleep in a different hotel every night, so I was surprised by how impressed I was here. The room and bathroom looked great, and the whole hotel seemed very well cared for. When my company booked a room, I figured it would be another Ramada. I was wrong. It’s right off I-95, about halfway between Richmond and Washington DC. Hoping breakfast in the morning is the icing on the cake.
