Happy Trails Bed and Breakfast

We had a cozy, very clean off-season stay on Jan 24-25, even though it was cold outside. The amenities were good and the service was excellent. Our unit, number 10, could use an electrical check because the bathroom light starts flickering after about 10 minutes.

The little porch had a beautiful view, and hummingbirds kept coming to the feeders. It felt like someone had paid attention to the small things that make a stay comfortable. The cabin was nice and clean, with a big, comfortable bed, smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee supplied. Getting in was easy. They emailed us a door code ahead of time, so we could arrive whenever we wanted. It’s in a cute little town about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park. If you want somewhere quiet and comfortable to come back to after a day at Bryce, I’d recommend these log cabins.

We chose this for a mother-daughter trip with my almost 80-year-old mom, so having parking beside each cabin was ideal for safety and accessibility. It was also a quiet, safe base for Bryce National Park, and we enjoyed sitting outside with the other cabin guests around sunset. The horse and goats behind the property were fun to see. I booked through Expedia despite some negative comments about reservations, but we had no trouble getting into our room. The early check-in I requested by phone was easily arranged, which we really appreciated. The next morning we found there was no coffee left for the pot. The office was closed, so we walked to the coffee shop across the street. When the property manager got back to us, he apologized and offered to bring the missing coffee, then comped a significant part of our nightly rate. He also Venmo’d money for coffee for the rest of our trip. It was an incredibly generous response to an honest mistake, even though it was frustrating at first. Thanks to Archie for making our day with such great customer service. I’d recommend the place and hope to return with my husband.

The cabins were clean, had all the amenities, and check-in and checkout were both easy. The location worked really well for Bryce Canyon National Park, and I liked that they provided local coffee.
