My two daughters love hotels, and they had a great time here. I wanted somewhere kid friendly for my daughter’s 8th birthday, and my first stay here was really enjoyable from check-in through checkout. Even on a busy weekend, my family had a good time. The staff were courteous and nice, and Al went above and beyond by letting me into my room early. I worked in hospitality as a front desk agent for 8 years, so I have certain expectations for service. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed one night and was very pleased. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve seen, and breakfast was very good. Everyone was kind, including the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crew.

During my September 2025 stay, the front desk gave another guest a key to the room I was already occupying. Strangers walked in while I was inside. It was terrifying, and I couldn’t sleep for hours afterward. I reported it right away, but the hotel never contacted me. I eventually had to send a follow-up email, and the reply was dismissive, shifting responsibility to me instead of acknowledging a serious breach of guest safety. As a longtime Marriott guest, I was shocked at how badly this was handled. Guests should be able to feel safe in their rooms, and that basic expectation wasn’t met here. I can’t recommend this hotel until Marriott takes proper steps to prevent this from happening again.

The room was a perfectly decent basic hotel room, with nothing to complain about. The pool and hot tub were nice, and breakfast was good too. Being about 20 minutes from downtown Detroit worked well since we were driving.

The beds are great, the rooms are clean and good quality, and after a long day I especially appreciate the jacuzzi. The pool area usually isn't too busy. They were remodeling the jacuzzi last November, so I'm excited that I can finally use it. Breakfast is free from 6am-10am, and there's also a workout room and snack machines 😋. A wonderful place to stay.
