The Cottages at Old Greenwood

We enjoyed our time at Old Greenwood and expect the Cottages will be there for us when we want to return. I owned there for almost 20 years, and found service and management of the complex improved. Reservations were much easier than with the former ownership, and the front desk staff handled check-in efficiently. They were personable and very helpful.

We spent four nights in a two-bedroom cottage at Old Greenwood and had a fantastic vacation. The cottage was in great shape, with a well-equipped kitchen and everything else we needed. Staff and facilities were great, and the location worked perfectly for our three ski days at Palisades, Northstar, and Alpine. Looking forward to coming back in summer to play Old Greenwood GC!

The snow-covered golden course was a beautiful view from the cottage. It’s about 10 minutes from Truckee and 15 from North Star, with a free shuttle to North Star. We also got access to the Mountain Club at North Star, including ski valet and free lift tickets for one day, which was an incredible bonus. Hayden was a pleasure to book with and incredibly responsive. The cottage was a large home with three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a gourmet kitchen and gorgeous sitting area. It fit five adults, one kid, and a dog perfectly, and the two-car garage made loading and unloading ski gear easy.

My friends had their wedding here, and it was a perfect place for everyone to gather over the long weekend. The cottage worked great for my family, two grandparents, my wife, our four-year-old, and me. My kid loved the play park and pool. The grill setup was great too. Having a gas line to the grill is cheating!
