The one good part was the young woman at the front desk. She was sweet and helpful. WiFi worked, and the location was convenient to I285/78. But there's no smart TV, so we missed some NBA playoffs because we couldn't log in to our apps. A random guy knocked on our door at 7:30 am, then some city officers showed up. Not sure if that was related to the guy at the door. The first non-smoking room smelled like people had been smoking cigarettes in it since 1972. The front desk said they couldn't help what people did in the rooms. Noted. Our second room smelled a little less strongly, at least it didn't burn my nose hairs, but it had its own issues: a busted wall that looked like it had taken a body slam, no microwave even though the first room had one, a broken security lock, missing light covers, and burn holes in the blanket. The mattress was THE WORST on the planet, with no support and a big dip all around. My back was not happy in the morning. This has to be bottom of the barrel even for M6.

Please don't stay here if safety matters to you. Our room doors wouldn't lock completely. The staff tried to help, but there was only so much they could do. There weren't enough rooms with the listed amenities available, and they didn't follow special instructions or requests.

I had a good experience staying at Motel 6. The person who greeted me was very professional and had the best attitude I've ever gotten from someone at a motel. I'm not sure if he was the manager, but his customer service was great. I'll definitely stay again when I visit Atlanta.

When I checked in, the deadbolt was stuck and the door couldn't close or lock. At the front desk, the "gentleman" behind the locked door seemed annoyed. He asked when I'd arrived, whether I really had a room, and why he hadn't seen me at check-in. Very bizarre motel 6. I was also refused fresh towels. They told me that a two-night stay wasn't long enough to get fresh linen, so I got no clean bath or hand towels and no washcloths. There's NO WAY all these five-star reviews are legitimate.

The room smelled awful as soon as we walked in, and it didn't seem worth what we paid. It looked cheap and cluttered, without even an extra table to put the oven on. The tub drained slowly, and the bathroom wasn't maintained properly. The first room had no trash bin, no oven, and a broken tap. I know mistakes happen, so I calmly asked to switch rooms, but the second room had the same sort of problems. I really don't recommend this place. For the same price, you can get better hotels.
