Casitas at Sabino Springs

A loud electrical hum in the second bedroom kept my son from sleeping there, so he ended up on our air mattress in the living room. We also dealt with a lot of bugs during our stay, probably because the condo is at the base of a mountain and on a golf course during unusually high temperatures. Small black beetles came through the door thresholds. We kept spraying the front door with bug spray we found in the pantry and sweeping up dead and live bugs. There were even small ants in the tub that I had to wash away before bathing my son. I’m sure this place is much nicer in cooler months.

The golf course and nearby homes make for pleasant walks, and having access to the pool and gym is a nice perk. The apartment is great and the setting is beautiful. It’s also a handy starting point for cycling Mt. Lemon. My only small complaint is the limited privacy from the golf course, plus the grounds crew’s early morning noise from their gas-powered golf carts.

We spent a lovely long weekend here with the family. There was plenty of room, beautiful views, and a quiet neighborhood, plus luxurious beds. Everyone could find something to do with the pool, gym, and golf. Management was helpful and accommodating, and we had a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend it.

We felt secure in this gated community during our six-night family stay. The apartment was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had high-end appliances. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great, since going home with dirty laundry isn’t much fun. If you’re looking for an Airbnb experience, this is a great alternative. Highly recommend!
