Fortuna Inn & Suites

The lobby inside was spacious and clean, and the room was roomy and clean too. Staff were friendly, and the manager helped me with a few things. It looked like renovations were underway, so I’d be glad to return and see the upgrades. I was unsure at first because the outside wasn’t in great shape and the parking lot seemed pretty empty. Tip: more towels in the room.

I loved the stay and the room was comfortable. Everyone at the front desk and in housekeeping was polite, and the customer service made the visit even better. Bad service is a pet peeve of mine, but I didn’t run into any of that at Fortuna Inn and Suite. I’ll be back sometime near the end of the year.

The room was clean and had the standard amenities you’d expect. One pillowcase had a stain, so I had to get fresh linens. Staff were accommodating at best: they welcomed me, though it felt like they were doing it just because it was their job. I’d rate the stay 7 out of 10.

After a long Greyhound ride I dozed off in the second room, then woke up with bedbugs attacking me. The front desk woman had first put me in a room she said had a balcony, but it didn’t. She moved me again after the bedbugs, and then I was sent back to the original room, where the toilet was flooding. She even told me not to use the towels on the floor. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and now I see why it was so cheap. I wouldn’t come back or suggest that anyone stay here. It’s not a place for families with children.
