Tucson Marriott University Park

I've been at Tucson Marriott University Park for five weeks, and the staff have made it one of my best hotel stays. Rio greets me with kindness and a warm smile every week, making me feel welcome and appreciated as soon as I arrive. Julia is my favorite bar attendant. She's caring, makes sure I have the right food options, and always gives great service. Her personality makes the bar feel relaxed and welcoming. Celina has also gone out of her way to help me more than once. After long workdays, I've sometimes returned very hungry with no food available. Even when it was late, she found a way to take care of me, bringing food to my room and making sure I was fed. I really appreciate that kind of care. Rio, Julia, and Celina clearly care about guests and regularly do more than expected. Thanks to them, the hotel feels like a home away from home.

The building is nice, the room was clean, and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. My favorite touch was the adjustable white noise machines available in the rooms.

The location and staff are amazing, and I'd stay again for those reasons. But this hotel has old bones, and the plumbing isn't okay. The toilets flush slowly and the drains are slow too, making basic needs a bit of a pain. It needs a full overhaul soon.

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, and I really appreciated how kind everyone was. I arrived late Thursday night and was told valet parking was sold out. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel safe searching for a self-parking spot. Rio at the front desk and Casey with valet managed to open a space and get me settled. Thanks to Marriott Tucson for making a guest feel looked after.
