The separate living area was handy when I wanted to rest while my husband took work calls, and we found the bed comfortable. There was plenty of storage, seating, and desk space, and the furniture itself was nice. But the carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed, and the shower was awful. It's small, with only a very gentle rainfall head, so it's hard to get your hair or body properly wet, while the half glass wall lets water spread across the floor. The check-in staff were friendly. Still, this is the third Sheraton I've stayed at this year, and each one has felt outdated and had a terrible shower. I'm disappointed in the brand and probably won't stay at another.

The room was spacious, clean, and newly renovated, and the pool and hot tub were also clean and well maintained. The club lounge was nicely furnished and open 24/7. The property itself isn't new and is being renovated, but the work wasn't inconvenient. Check-in was smooth. They recognized my status, and I was able to get in early. I travel over 100 days a year, so I wanted to share my experience after reading some of the reviews. Rooms: 8/10, staff: 9/10, value for money: 10/10. Good hotel, no worries. It should be even better when the renovations are finished.

Customer service was great, with helpful, cheerful staff, and the location is convenient. We only stayed one weekday night, and it was a relaxing place, though the central location also brought traffic noise and helicopters landing at the hospital next door. Breakfast was a letdown. The coffee was strong, but the food presentation barely matched La Quinta's, and there weren't many choices. We had also hoped to spend the evening by the pool and fire pits, so it was disappointing to find they were turned off before 9:00. Maybe I'd come back once the construction and renovation are done.

We spent an hour trying three rooms before getting a refund and leaving. The last room seemed more promising, with no bad smell and sheets that weren't badly wrinkled, but the comforter had obvious unwashed stains. We decided it was better to drive the extra five hours home overnight, even if it meant sleeping in the car. We'd stopped with our toddler on the drive back from Disney to Tucson after six hours on the road. It was late, and the hotel seemed like a good halfway stop with decent reviews and a renovation mentioned. In the first room, the carpet was stained, and the sheets had hair and stains from the previous guest and looked unchanged. They moved us to a suite, but the couch had a white crusty substance on it, and the room reeked of urine. Those sheets were wrinkled, stained, and didn't smell clean either, and there was a previous guest's eyelash on the pillow. The front desk moved us to a third room. This hotel was absolutely disgusting; we experienced the issues described in other negative reviews almost immediately.

The pool is lovely, but people playing loud music on their own Bluetooth speakers while eating and drinking on the deck made swimming unpleasant. Aside from that, I'd stay here again. It's good value in Tucson, with clean, comfortable renovated rooms, though the beds are on the firm side. The hotel is mid-remodel, so the outside looks a bit like a construction site. We stayed three nights over Labor Day Weekend. Rooms come with a coffee maker, Starbucks coffee, Tazo tea, and two bottles of water each day. The fridge is a proper fridge, not a wine cooler, and the bedside lamps have USB ports. The bathroom has an easy-entry shower with a half glass partition. Staff were welcoming, especially the maître d' at the breakfast buffet. The buffet had a good range of hot options each day, and it was good quality and well stocked.
