My favorite condo complex in the Foothills sits right at the edge of the Santa Catalina front range. The condos are nice, with lots of windows, beautiful screened-in porches, fireplaces in every unit, and great layouts with very nice kitchens. Finding long-term unfurnished rentals is tough these days, since many owners rent their units furnished for short-term seasonal stays at steep prices.
We feel tucked away here, with the mountains close by. It’s quiet and feels very safe, and this is right outside our front door.
Set in the Foothills at the base of the Ventana Canyon hiking trail, this is a beautiful condo community. There are heated pools and spas, tennis and pickleball, clubhouses, BBQs, and exercise facilities. Loews at Ventana Canyon is next door, with pristine golf, several good restaurants, shopping, and Sabino Canyon Rec Park nearby. A nice place to relax and recharge.
The hotel’s observation tower gives you a lovely skyline view of Tuscon and could be a nice spot to meditate. There are also several hiking trails with scenic views, and the hotel’s morning guided tour was lots of fun. Our elegant room had a patio where we could sit and enjoy the view, and the whole retreat felt peaceful.
The units feel comfortable and homey, with modern, distinctive interiors, and the amenities are top notch. You can head straight out to hike from the private entrance to the Ventana Canyon trailhead, without even getting in the car. There are shops and restaurants close by, Whole Foods isn’t far, and Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is right next door. Add the panoramic views and sweet community, and the location really is the draw.
