Best Western Discovery Inn

After 12 hours on the road, I pulled in after dark and wasn't sure what to expect. The outside looked run down, and the lobby didn't feel very comforting. The young woman working there was friendly and helpful, though. Once I saw the room, I was surprised: it was immaculate, from the beds and linen to the bath and towels. The bed was comfy and I slept great. My room backed onto the freeway, so I could hear some road noise, but it faded into background noise. I didn't try breakfast since I was leaving at 4:30 am.

You can tell the friendly staff take pride in this hotel. It's a great place to stop, and the breakfast is very good, especially for the price.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the front desk folks were fabulous. The room was super clean and the shower was great. We ate at Del’s after a long day driving, and both the food and atmosphere were excellent. The meatloaf was delicious, and my husband enjoyed a good-sized serving of brisket enchiladas. Breakfast smelled good, too. It was a bit noisy, though Fairfield Inn is noisy as well. The lower price was a win for us.

The food was wonderful, especially the sauce made with hatch chillies. The staff were super friendly, and so were the other guests, which made the stay feel refreshing. Rooms were nice and well kept. A great stop, and you might even want to explore the area.
