I was left sleeping in my car in the parking lot after an exhausting night. I’m a traveling ER doctor and had flown in for work, but the hospital was in crisis, so I went straight from the plane to work and couldn’t check in. When I arrived at 6 a.m., not even 24 hours after check-in began, I was told my reservation had been cancelled as a no-show. No one had called to check with me. I’ve never had a hotel do that. I’m a silver member with Hilton, travel widely for work, and my company pays, so there are no flags on my account. They said there wouldn’t be a room until 11 a.m. and that it would cost extra. I’d been awake for 36 hours and asked if they could help, but got no response. The front desk showed no empathy, offered no explanation or other solution, even though I was standing there in scrubs with my backpacks looking completely exhausted. I’ll take the corporate card elsewhere next time and recommend switching to a hotel chain that treats guests, and healthcare workers, with more respect.

I was told rescheduling would cost extra, and they don’t give refunds. They did offer to waive the cancellation fee, but only if I cancelled without getting any money back. Expedia showed the same price for the date I wanted, yet I was told the change would cost $236 more. A complete rip off. Take your business elsewhere.

The location worked perfectly, with Westfield Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was roomy, very clean, and comfortable, with lots of counter and closet space. The kitchenette had nice appliances, and breakfast offered great choices. After a long flight for the Seahawks game, Ahnia at the front desk made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and kept it up all weekend. She was warm, attentive, and gave amazing customer service. One of my best hotel stays, and I travel a lot. Thanks Home 2 Suites!

The rooms are spacious and the location is great, so we’ll definitely book here again. My family and I have had one of the best customer service experiences of all my hotel stays. The day shift ladies were so friendly and welcoming when we checked in, and the gentleman working nights has kept checking on us to make sure we’re doing okay. I’m still staying here as I write this.
