Travelodge by Wyndham Sea-Tac Airport North

We left after seeing the second room. My husband and I had booked two nights for our honeymoon road trip because it was cheap. The first room, right above the office, was filthy, and there was a hole in the dresser across from the bed at mattress height. You can guess what that might be for. We told the front desk, and the woman gave us keys to another room. That one was dirty too, with hair all over the bathroom and no towels. I tried calling the manager about a refund, but he wouldn't answer. When I finally emailed, he only said the room was non-refundable. No apology. We ended up at the Best Western down the street, which was great. I'd highly recommend staying there.

My husband and I stayed there last night and had a really good visit. I was worried by the bad reviews, but the room was very clean, smelled nice, and had clean towels. It also came with a mini refrigerator, hair dryer, and microwave. The front desk staff were really nice, and they gave us free breakfast and parking. Breakfast had great waffles, cereal, bread, coffee, and orange juice. I don't think you'll find a hotel like this at such a reasonable price around here. We'll definitely come back.

The service was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, with a comfortable bed and new, very nice carpeting. But my airport pickup was a mess. I waited 20 minutes for the courtesy van, then called again. I'd already been put on hold twice. They told me the van had been to the airport and picked someone up, and that the driver was now out running an errand to get cash and wouldn't be back at the motel for 20 minutes. It was late and I was tired, but I watched carefully and saw every van that came through. The Travelodge van wasn't one of them. I took a $16 taxi to the motel, and they told me they wouldn't reimburse the fare.

The room was dim enough that we couldn't see well, and there was some weird tape on the bathtub. The bed itself was clean and comfortable, which was what I cared about arriving late and flying out early. The front desk person was really nice, breakfast was simple but filling, and I especially liked the waffles. The shuttle driver was great, left right on time, and got us to the airport in a quick 10-minute ride. It's a good, cheap place to sleep if you need an airport shuttle.
