The front desk woman went above and beyond with my reservation. I'd booked through a third party, and they canceled at the last minute. She contacted them and got everything sorted out. She definitely deserves a raise.

The room was fine and the front desk staff were decent, but the rest of the hotel felt poorly maintained and dated. There was a foul smell in the lobbies and hallways, with stained, moldy carpets and a musty, muggy feel. Housekeeping woke me by knocking well before checkout time. Later, as I was taking my luggage downstairs, I saw a housekeeper sitting in the stairwell on her phone. She deactivated my key even though I'd told her I wasn't finished bringing my things down. When I came back up two minutes later, it no longer worked. I had to interrupt her phone time so she could let me into my room with her master key. I'm not coming back.

Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk woman was super nice. The rooms were nice and clean, but the toilet was acting up and the room urgently needed paint touch-ups. The fire detector was missing, with its wires just hanging out. We booked because we wanted a pool and breakfast, and both were disappointing. The pool water was freezing, so you couldn't swim in it. Breakfast was clean and nice, but they had bagels and bread for toast without a toaster. We won't return to this location.

I woke up with bites all over me, and I believe the hotel has bed bugs. The staff were rude, and when the TV wouldn't work, I went downstairs to report it. They said it didn't matter and there wasn't another room available. Later, a woman said they could move us, but there was no key for that room, so she'd have to let us in whenever we wanted. That was super odd. This place needs to be an hourly motel. Don't stay here.
