Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tulsa Midtown by IHG

The staff really made this stay special. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and when I accidentally left my Invisalign retainers wrapped in a bathroom napkin, they were understandably thrown away. I called the front desk, and the staff kindly went looking, found the trays, and brought them back to our room. We were so grateful for that care and effort, and we'll definitely stay again. We were here for my son's Tulsa national wrestling tournament. The hotel was very clean, with free parking, a nice gym, a handy snack bar, and a good complimentary breakfast each morning. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants. We enjoyed Saltgrass Steakhouse and Outback, and were pleasantly surprised to find a Persian restaurant, Ali baba, nearby. Highly recommend!

We barely slept. The road noise was really loud, even with a fan running, though our friend in a room facing away from the highway said it was better. Our room wasn't cleaned very well: it smelled as though the cleaner had sprayed it, but there were crumbs and spills on the furniture. The bed also made a sound like a baking sheet when you sat on it. A guest next door was throwing themselves against the wall and yelling curse words at 3 a.m. That wasn't the hotel's fault, but combined with the noise and uncomfortable bed, it made for a rough night.

Breakfast was quite a spread, with bacon, eggs, breads, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, and good brewed coffee. The pancake machine was acting up, but they fixed it quickly, and there was plenty of seating. The staff were friendly, and the lobby was nice. Our two-bed room was clean and roomy, though the shower had a curtain instead of the glass enclosure shown in the hotel's official Google photos. There were lots of table surfaces but only a couple of outlets, and the USB outlet was loose.

The hotel was easy to reach from I-44, with plenty of outdoor parking, and we felt safe. Check-in and checkout were both quick and simple, and the staff welcomed us warmly. Everything was extremely clean, and breakfast was great. We'd stay again.
