Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center

Kerrigan at the front desk tried to arrange the room and floor I wanted so our daughter's birthday would stay a surprise. Maria helped with dinner when we were snowed in and happily let us use the dining room for the celebration. Cathy, who served breakfast, kept coffee, hot chocolate, and tea coming for everyone while we waited there for hours. All three went well beyond what they had to do. We were in Tulsa for our daughter's 50th birthday on the weekend of January 23, 2026. We'd flown in from California, and family had driven two hours to join us. There were 11 of us in five rooms, but the nationwide winter storm Fern shut down much of Tulsa. The restaurant's full menu wasn't available, yet they brought out hot chicken noodle soup, pasta with beef, and broccoli. It was such a welcome surprise. They also gave us a warm dining room with a large table to celebrate in. Our flight was delayed Sunday, after the 11 AM checkout time, and they let us spend another three hours visiting in the lobby. The staff's kindness and compassion far exceeded what I expected. I also want to thank Marriott for providing rooms to staff so they wouldn't have to travel through the storm.

The pool is a huge reason we choose this hotel, so finding it closed for the weekend really bothered me. We pay a lot for the experience, and this one was horrible. We'll book somewhere else next year. I understand they're doing renovations, and that part doesn't upset me. What does is paying a good chunk of money while kids run and scream from floor to floor, and boys running in the hall knock me into the wall. The hideaway couch was broken and unusable, the mirror was broken, and the carpet had lumps and bumps. This isn't some $55-a-night motel in a rough neighborhood.

Courtney handled a small problem for us completely, and she was so professional and accommodating that we can't thank her enough. The staff were helpful and courteous from check-in through checkout. We've stayed here several times and every visit has been great. There are also several good restaurants and shops within walking distance. We'll definitely stay again.

The room was great, and the staff were great too. The location is easy to get to and close to everything. The AC was the one problem: I set it to 60 and still sweated at night. And the elevator door made a huge clunk that was pretty scary.
