The owner was really nice, and that ribeye is the best meal I’ve had in Heber Springs in the 20 years I’ve lived here. I first ate at the restaurant on a Monday, which is unusual for Heber Springs, and it was so good I came back Thursday night.

A lovely Arkansas fishing tradition. We had a great time in the cabins overlooking the beautiful Little Red River, and we’ll be back.

The views are amazing, and it’s so quiet and peaceful here. You can’t beat the fishing, either. There are fishing tours and boats to rent. The rooms and property were neat and clean, beyond what we expected, especially after seeing some bad reviews. The prices were great, and the staff and local residents were so welcoming. It was our first visit, but this has become our new favorite spot for a weekend away.

I had a great time bringing my family here, even though some of the upkeep left me disappointed. The pool was green and out of order, which was a big letdown since we’d planned to use it a lot and it was one of the reasons we chose the resort. We had to take the kids elsewhere to keep them occupied. The grounds were well kept, and our motel-style room was clean, tidy, and functional, just as I expected. The AC struggled in the heat, though it cooled off enough at night for comfortable sleep. The unit will need an upgrade down the road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place still has a nostalgic, wonderful feel, but not much seems to have changed since my visits 20 years ago, aside from spotty Wi-Fi and, oddly, Tesla chargers. I used to come to Lindsey's resort every summer for our family reunion, so I returned this year hoping to share those memories with my children. The nostalgia hit as soon as we arrived. I’m not sure I’ll come back unless things improve, especially the pool. I wish the resort were better maintained than some of the others nearby.

Love this place. The cabins are close enough to walk between, which is handy when you’ve got a big family or group in town. We didn’t try the restaurant this time, but hope to on our next visit.
