Hampton Inn Tunkhannock

The little welcome drink and snack made check-in feel personal, and I liked having coffee available around the clock for late-night or early-morning cravings. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with lots of choices, and it exceeded my expectations. There were thoughtful extras and the stay felt like good value for the money. I had a fantastic time, would highly recommend it, and would absolutely come back.

We had family games in the lobby several late nights, and spent plenty of time at the pool and outside patio during our wedding stay with family and friends. The location worked out great for the event. Staff were accommodating in the mornings and evenings. Special thanks to Pat on the evening shift, who was a big help storing all our things overnight after we got back from the wedding reception.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a desk and couch, and I slept so well, which is unusual for me away from home. It was quiet and felt safe, so I think it's a great pick if you're traveling alone. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, too. I travel a lot and have stayed in hotels of all kinds, but this little place has a piece of my heart. It's so clean and refreshing, and I loved the coffee bar, cookies, snacks for sale, and water always being available. Breakfast had so many options, and the thoughtful grab-and-go setup was a nice touch. The front desk gentleman also gave me amazing dinner advice: go to The Player's Pub at the golf course. Kudos to the management team!

We return to this property whenever we're visiting family nearby. As a frequent traveler and Hilton Diamond member, I'd put it among the nicer Hampton Inns I've stayed at. The staff are always friendly, the property is well maintained, and the breakfast area is kept in great shape.
