Hampton Inn & Suites Tupelo/Barnes Crossing

The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the AC worked perfectly. My room was clean and spacious, and the fitness center had good equipment. The Hampton Inn looks like it was renovated recently. There were lots of breakfast choices, enough to leave me full and ready for the day. I'd happily stay here again when I'm in the area.

We stayed on Christmas Eve, and the hotel had been renovated. It was clean, and best of all there was no perfumed scent in the building or HVAC. Hilton and Marriott started adding those scents a few years ago, without realizing some people don't want them. With my medical condition, I can't breathe around them. This will catch up with the chains. I do like Hilton PUR rooms when I can find them. The staff were all kind, breakfast was ready at 6am, and the holiday decorations were beautiful. Thanks for spreading some cheer when we needed it. I definitely recommend this Hampton Inn & Suites!

We needed somewhere to stay for two nights during the storm, close to our jobs in a nearby town. The rooms were much nicer and more spacious than I expected. Money well spent for my husband and me.

Carie, the breakfast hostess, was outstanding, friendly, and ready to help. The beds were comfortable and the rooms okay, though the bathroom floors could have been cleaner. We arrived to an empty front desk and waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. She just handed over the cards, with no breakfast hours or thank you. It felt unprofessional. There were too many workers gathered around the desk in the morning, being loud and unprofessional. This is a newer motel, but there's a lot of wasted space and fabric chairs in the dining area. The food was okay, though some was overcooked. We had to ask for more waffle batter, and what came out was so thick that two people used it up. I miss the plastic drinking cups. Some of us still use them.
