This works really well for a longer stay. It feels like a studio apartment, with a fridge, stove, and a big living area, and the extended-stay price is fair for the area. The owner is friendly and checks in regularly to see if I need anything. I work from home as a web developer, so the strong Wi-Fi matters a lot. It’s a great escape from the winter city grind, and I love hiking and exploring the desert in spring. The place could use some modern updates, but that would probably raise the price, so I didn’t take off a star. There’s even a VCR, which might make some people laugh. These days I’d be streaming or using my iPad or laptop anyway, and I’d rather spend my time exploring the surroundings. I’d recommend it to remote workers looking for a month or more away.

We rented two rooms for about a week with the family, and it was a really relaxing stay. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the service was great. I asked for privacy and they left us alone. We grilled by the pool and could use the jacuzzi as late as we wanted. We had a great time.
