Motel 6 Twin Falls, ID

The bed and bathroom were fine, and I have no complaint about the staff. Still, I learned this kind of budget motel isn’t really for me. My room was by the office, where car horns chirped as people locked up, and kids were often loud outside while I was trying to sleep. I woke up several times and found it really annoying. I wish I’d been able to get a room at the back. I also missed having a mini fridge and coffee maker, and had to cross the street for breakfast and coffee. I chose Motel 6 to spend about half what I usually pay at a higher-end hotel. That’s on me, I suppose. Now I pay twice as much for those hotels and don’t complain.

The room was clean, quiet, and low cost, and we had our small dog with us, which was no problem since Motel 6 welcomes pets. I arrived late while towing a car trailer. Kerri and Mellissa came out from the office to help me park near it, and they moved me to a ground-floor room. There weren’t any rooms left with a fridge for my insulin, so they gave me a bucket of ice and kept my icepacks in the office. Great motel, especially if you travel with pets.

The property was in good shape, and I saw staff sweeping and taking care of the grounds, which was a nice touch. Inside, the room was clean and comfortable. The pillows could’ve been better, but for the price, that’s fair. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

We were happy with our stay. The place was very clean, and the person at the front desk was still there at 2 am when we arrived and was very helpful. The walls are a little thin, though, so we could hear TVs and snoring from nearby rooms.
