SureStay Hotel by Best Western Twin Falls

For a few hours of rest before the next stretch of our road trip, the place was clean enough and did the job. The stay was okay, though I didn’t think the cost was great for what we got, and I’d look elsewhere for several nights. It had basic amenities and felt more like a motel than a hotel. Check-in took a while because I found out someone else had been checked in under my name. That’s never happened to me at a hotel before. They found me another room, but didn’t acknowledge the mix-up or offer anything for the trouble. Since they gave away my confirmed reservation without checking ID, I expected at least an apology or some kind of upgrade or compensation.

After a long day of driving, the crisp bedding and comfy pillows are welcome. Breakfast is reliably good, and there are a few great restaurants within walking distance. It’s very affordable and right by the highway, and the front desk staff are always helpful with special needs. What more do you need?

The room was very clean, the fridge worked well, and the bed was comfortable enough. Dogs barked through the evening and into the night, but it got quiet after their owners returned to them. Kids were also stomping around in the room above us.

I’m extremely unhappy with this stay. I called before booking to ask exactly how late the hot tub was open, and the person on the phone said it was open all night, “24 hours.” I hadn’t planned to stay when I left that morning, so I even went to Target and bought swimwear. At the hotel I asked where the hot tub was. The front desk person said it was on the first floor halfway down. We got changed and went looking, but couldn’t find it. When I went back, she then said they didn’t have one at all. That was the whole reason I booked this hotel. What kind of place doesn’t have a hot tub? It’s a pretty standard amenity. The woman straight-up lied, and I’ll never stay here again. The room was ridiculously small, the bed uncomfortable, and there was zero hospitality. It wasn’t worth the $125. I could’ve paid less for a better hotel. Buyer beware. Don’t waste your money!
