Thanks, Carol! The vintage feel made the room so cozy, and I loved the flowers in the window box. The location was great, and we’ll definitely be back. I’m a germaphobe with OCD tendencies about cleaning, and this was the cleanest room I’ve EVER stayed in. The bathroom was SPOTLESS, and the beds were comfy.

My family mostly comes here to enjoy the mountain scenery, though we might do some trout fishing or swim in a mountain river during summer. It’s close to Bretton Woods and Mt. Cannon for skiing. A real hidden gem, with rooms that are always spotless but still feel homey. The owners are second and third generation at the lodge, and you can see how much pride they take in every part of it.

We arrived late, and a very nice gentleman helped us get settled in our room. He was welcoming and shared lots of information about the area. It was so cool to hear that his grandfather built the place and that he and his mom run it. It feels very homey, and the remodeled rooms still have vintage charm. The room was super cute and really clean, with new carpet that even felt good under my husband’s feet. Everything we needed seemed to have been thought of. The area is pretty, the place has great charm, and the rates were good. I’d definitely recommend it, and I appreciated our stay.

Carol, the owner, and her son, Will, were so warm and friendly. They were extremely helpful and knew a lot about the area. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The place is charming and peaceful, and the staff are among the best. I love it here and highly recommend it.
