Admiral's Inn on Tybee Island

Admiral's Inn is lovely, and the location makes it easy to get to the beach and shops. The rooms are fantastic and exceptionally clean. Everyone on staff was so nice, especially Cecilia, who went above and beyond for us.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked for next year. It was quiet, not crowded, and the staff were friendly from the quick check-in onward. The hotel, grounds, facilities, and room were all clean and well cared for. We had a first-floor room facing the front lot. The beds were clean and comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets. The rain shower had good pressure and lots of hot water, and the A/C kept the room cool. The pool area was nice, and the water was warm. Coffee was available in the lobby each morning, and there was also a maker in the room. The best part is how close everything is: the beach, pier, and Tybrisa's bars and restaurants. Parking is free, which matters here. The hotel is a good value, and the people are friendly. Just a note, not a complaint: we're not picky travelers and mostly use the room to sleep, but there will be sand on the floors at a beach hotel. Some furnishings are dated, though the staff do a good job keeping the busy place nice. We're looking forward to coming back.

I came to run the half marathon, and the start line was about a block away. The pier is close too, and the beach is a five-minute walk. It was quiet and had ample parking. The property is a little worn, but the staff were fantastic.

We added an extra day to our booking a few weeks ahead, and the staff handled it easily. No hassle or room change. Everyone we met was really nice, and we had a quiet, pleasant stay in late September during the off season. The pool was never busy, so we could mostly have it to ourselves. We liked the rooms and the rainfall shower, and the lobby has an ice machine and a bottle-filling station that kept my water topped up each day. The hotel is an easy walk from just about everything we needed, including the beach, IGA grocery store, and many island restaurants and bars. We'd definitely come back.
