We stayed on the 2nd terrace. The beach view was partial, with half the deck blocked by the cottage in front. The website photos are clearly deceiving. I only stayed because I had kids and didn't want to upset them, but I won't return. For what I paid each night, I expected a clean apartment, and it wasn't. There was dust all over the fans, baseboards, ceilings, and corners. The rugs and floors were filthy enough to turn our feet black. The dishwasher had smelly standing water. Shower pressure was so poor it was hard to rinse off the sand after the beach. The dishes and flatware looked old and gross, so I bought disposable everything. They didn't provide enough towels for the number of guests or bedding for the trundles. The furniture was so worn out it offered no support. I'm not old, but I had to put a pillow on the couch because I didn't want to feel the springs or bars in my behind. We heard beeping at random during the night. After searching around, my husband thought it might have been a CPAP machine from the 3rd floor occupants. Parking was terrible too. Getting our minivan in and out every day was a feat.

You're very close to the beach, but a good view is only available from the top terrace. Otherwise, a house sits between you and the beach. Parking is extremely tight unless you've got a tiny car, and the elevator wasn't working when we arrived, though it was fixed later. There are lots of warnings about charges for lost keys or changing the thermostat. The kitchen could use more pans and silverware. The smoke detector went off every time we used the oven or toaster.

The receptionist literally said they treat you like your business doesn't matter if you book through a third party because you're looking for a room discount. Their miscommunication and gaslighting put my family in a bind. I suggest you don't stay here, especially if booking through a third party. I'll never come back.

This place was a great surprise, a hidden gem with an awesome price. We only stayed one night while passing through, but we'd love to return. The beach was clean and not crowded, and the coffee and breakfast were pretty good. We'll be back.

We'd just moved to Savannah and wanted a night away. Even though it was so cold, it was a perfect spot. We had the whole beach to ourselves, with nothing but the wind and waves for company. A wonderful stay and a perfect escape.
