Sleep Inn & Suites Tyler South

We stayed three nights to visit family, and the rooms were super clean. The king bed was very comfy, and the sheets, comforter, and pillows were clean too. It's a non-smoking hotel. The bathroom had a stone shower, so no climbing into a tub, with strong water flow and plenty of hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash came in squeeze bottles in the shower. There was lots of lighted parking, ice and drinks on every floor, and the rooms had quiet surroundings, though you could hear some hallway conversation. In the room we had heat and AC controls, a desk, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Breakfast was free and ran for three hours, with plenty of tables. There were two Belgian waffle makers that make Texas-shaped waffles, plus scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cereal, fruit, muffins, yogurt, and juice. The woman working there was super friendly and kept everything stocked. The staff overall were so nice, from the front desk to the maids, and everyone said hi. They all seemed to enjoy working there. The location is handy, just off a main street with Target, Best Buy, Olive Garden, Chicken Salad Chick, Applebee's, Sprouts, and lots of other restaurants, including Mexican ones. The rate was really good too. After reading reviews of several nearby hotels, I really recommend this one.

The location is right in the heart of Tyler, and we had a wonderful four-night stay. Our room was clean, with a great shower, hot water, and goated water pressure. Breakfast was top tier, and all the front desk workers were friendly, especially Romayne, who's the best ever.

The only real hassle on our longer stay was the room keys. They stopped working a few times, so we had to get replacements. Otherwise it was a great visit: clean, quiet, comfy beds, and a good breakfast. There's a small gym, and I liked the fall decorations by the front desk. The outdoor pool was closed while we were there, maybe for the season.

The staff were excellent, and breakfast was outstanding. Our room smelled clean and was very clean, and housekeeping went above and beyond, stopping by every day to replace anything we needed.
