Rodeway Inn Expo Center

We came here while my husband was working, and his boss paid for the motel, so we weren't expecting anything fancy. The staff have all been helpful and kind, and I have no complaints. We mostly keep to ourselves and don't make friends around the motel, so we've had no problems. We even renewed for another month while we wait to get into one of the couple of houses we might rent. I'd recommend it and would stay here again.

Food options nearby were convenient, including McDonald's, Burger King, and Waffle House, but I was exhausted and had already paid, or I would've left. It was extremely loud on a Monday night, with kids running, people yelling and partying, loud music, and doors slamming. I barely slept, and I can only imagine the weekends. If you want comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet, safe place to unwind, this isn't it. I can't believe it's still in business. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I was very disappointed. The word “Inn” is in the name, though it felt more like the "projects" than a hotel. People live here rather than staying a few days. Check-in was fine, though the clerk seemed bothered instead of welcoming. Driving around to find my room gave me a bad feeling. A couple were fighting in the lot as others watched from their doorways. The walkways had trash, clothes, broken glass, and sticky spots all over. Inside, the room had holes in the walls, a vanity pulling away from the bathroom wall, sticky floors, hair in the shower, and stained sheets, towels, pillows, and shower curtain. The newer-looking bathroom tile was the only nice thing. The water was hot but had hardly any pressure. Thankfully, I didn't see bugs. I've added a few photos of the room.

The rooms have been renovated, the bed is comfortable, and I liked the place. The gentlemen at the front desk were friendly and professional, and I believe they genuinely listened to me. Still, I think the rooms are overpriced. The shower pressure is weak and the hot water isn't really hot. Housekeeping won't clean my room because of my dog, and I feel the price should reflect that I'm not getting housekeeping.

This place was disgusting, and I'd give it zero if I could. The sheets and towels were nasty. There was a couch in the room covered in "love" stains, with a pretty big hole inside the armrest. The man who checked us in, who I think is an owner or related to one, was incredibly rude. He kept telling my boyfriend to stay away from him and said he wasn't allowed to look at the room while I was showing him how bad it was. Just hateful as hell.
