I've stayed at this location before without any issues, so I booked a weekend room on IGH for my daughter and her friend. We checked in around 7 pm, and the woman at the front desk was nice. They went to swim around 8, but the pool was closed. The desk was unattended when they got there, and there was a sign saying it was closed. When I came back around 10, I explained that the sign hadn't been there when we checked in. The woman said the general manager had posted online that the pool was down. I showed her that the site didn't say that, and told her I wouldn't have booked and wasted the money if I'd known. I asked to cancel and move to another hotel, but she said I'd still be charged for the night if I left. She offered a discount and points for the inconvenience, and said she'd change our two-night stay to one night. The plugs in the room didn't work, so we couldn't charge our phones. At checkout, I asked the new woman on shift whether the previous employee had sorted everything out. She said she could honor what I'd been told, but could only see a one-night stay, with nothing about the offer. In the end, the promised courtesy wasn't honored, and the reservation was changed from two nights to one but I was charged more money for that one night. Very upsetting.

The room was spacious and beautiful, and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast had lots of variety. I'll be back.

After a drive that stretched from eight hours to nearly eleven, a cold beer and a clean room were welcome. Ashley got us checked in quickly, then Sage took over when her shift ended. Both were great to deal with, and the place was amazingly clean. It's a dope spot to stay, with everything you need within a block and snacks stocked in the lobby for those late-night munchies. Great rooms and staff. Thanks again, we'll see you next time.

Holiday Inn Express is my usual choice when I travel because it's consistent, and this stay was excellent. Fresh coffee is available around the clock from a machine that grinds the beans for each cup. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean and well kept. The bright breakfast room was inviting, and even though the hotel was full the night of 3/8/25, breakfast was well stocked Sunday morning and the room was kept clean. The woman looking after the breakfast room did an excellent job.

The location was great, near the main road and lots of food options. The rooms had nice new updates and decor, and the common areas were clean too. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and my son enjoyed the pool. But I gave it four stars because the bed and pillows felt very uncomfortable, so I slept poorly. Breakfast doesn't come out until 7:00 a.m. on weekends, and we had to leave around 6:30-6:45, so I couldn't have any.
