The main issue was the internet. Verizon service was terrible, and the Wi-Fi signal in my room was weak. The vending machines had run out of water, so buy yours beforehand. I chose this place because it was the cheapest hotel I could find near Annapolis. With traffic it took 40 minutes to get there, and 25 without. Service was good, and someone was there when I checked in around 1 AM. The room felt run-down, maybe three-star at best, but you get what you pay for. I booked a single king room. It might have been an accessible room, since the shower looked set up for use while sitting down. Its ledge was poorly designed too: the lowest point is over the ledge and onto the bathroom floor, instead of inside the shower by the drain. The bed was just a bed, but it wasn’t uncomfortable, and I didn’t see any bugs during my stay.

I’ve stayed here many times and plan to rent a room again. There’s plenty of parking, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I also felt safe. When something happened that could have become an issue, management spotted it right away on the surveillance system and came to help before I even asked. It’s clear they’re doing a good job.

I’m here for work because I live far away, and I’d give fewer stars if I could. I’ve had bed bugs and cockroaches, and the rooms have a constant smell. One night the hotel was freezing; another night the AC wouldn’t blow cold air. I’ve stayed in multiple rooms, and some of the locks don’t even lock. The only reason I keep coming back is that work pays for it. If you have a choice, don’t stay here. Gross.

The staff welcomed me warmly and professionally when I arrived, and the lobby had an elegant, charming feel. My room was spacious and spotless, with thoughtful decor and amenities that made it feel more luxurious than I expected. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. I was impressed by how clean everything was.
