Iron Creek Inn & Suites

Those sunsets were beautiful, and it was so quiet while I was there for a few nights. The hotel is new and very clean, with welcoming, friendly staff. It’s quite remote, so keep in mind the closest restaurants are 20-30 minutes away. The parking lot is only partly paved, though the area right in front of the hotel is paved. A good choice if you want somewhere clean and peaceful away from the usual route.

I ended up staying for two weeks and really didn’t want to go. The staff were so friendly, and the place is new and kept in good shape. There was a hot breakfast each morning, and the manager also set up dinner on a few evenings for a small charge. Having laundry facilities was a nice extra.

I stayed from 7/20/25 to 8/3/2025 and enjoyed it. The bed was comfortably firm, and there were several pillows in both soft and firm options. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and I could count on a good hot breakfast. The new hotel was clean and comfortable, the laundry room was clean and working, and there was plenty of parking. There’s also a grill and picnic table out back. I’d recommend it.

I even saw antelope grazing outside my window. The town is about half a mile away, and the hotel is fairly close to the Black Hills. My mattress was comfortable, though I prefer a slightly softer one. At 5'10", I found the shower head was above my head. I liked being able to adjust the air conditioner fan to cover up noise. The place was clean, quiet, comfortable, and still had that new smell.
