GetAways at Eagle Point

The rooms were much larger than expected, with a proper bedroom separate from the living room and a medium-sized kitchen. We liked that both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs were kept very hot. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful in all sorts of situations. When we spotted a mistake in our check-in paperwork, they fixed it within minutes. Our car battery died, and they jump-started it twice and helped us find a reliable local mechanic.

The bed was comfortable, and unlike at a lot of resorts, my wife and I could sit together comfortably in the living room. The decor and overall look are a bit dated and worn. There’s no AC, but the strong room fans and their placement near the windows helped a lot.

It’s a nice, clean place, and the staff were nice, but the maintenance problems weren’t acceptable. The elevator was out for my entire two-week stay, and the hot tub was broken too.

Parking was the one real drawback. Even paying guests had trouble finding a spot because some people parked over the lines and took up multiple spaces. Inside, though, the rooms were spacious and clean, with separate sleeping areas, a living room, dining room, full kitchen with dishware, and two full bathrooms. The location is amazing, and there’s a heated pool and two hot tubs. An amazing, affordable place to stay in Vail.
